ARCHITECTURE SCHOOLS
NEW ZEALAND
in New Zealand, you can study Architecture at three schools:
When you are planning your study pathway, it helps to consider where you think you might want to go after study.
To get on the most direct pathway to becoming a Registered Architect in New Zealand, you will probably be thinking about studying for a Master of Architecture (Professional) or MArch(Prof). This is a 2-year post-graduate degree, which follows a 3-year undergraduate course, typically a Bachelor of Architectural Studies. The full 2-part accredited course takes 5 years of full-time study.
While there are a range of architecture-related courses on offer in New Zealand, only three offer an accredited course including the MArch (Prof) degree: The University of Auckland, Victoria University of Wellington, and Unitec Institute of Technology.
